| 2011 Regional Meetings |
The Tennessee County Commissioners Association has a long standing
tradition of holding regional meetings across the state at the end of the
summer. This year is no exception. In the month of September, TCCA will
host a series of 8 regional meetings across the state.
These are evening meetings which begin at 6:30 p.m. local time with a
dinner provided by the association, followed by programs and
discussions. These meetings introduce you to the association and the
programs, events and services available through TCCA and our parent
organization, the Tennessee County Services Association.
The program will also include a review of recent developments that have
affected county governments in Tennessee and a discussion of what to
expect from the upcoming legislative session. These meetings provide an
opportunity for the membership to network and share the concerns of
county commissioners across the state which helps develop our
legislative platform and future programs.
State legislators and the Tennessee Congressional Delegation are also
invited and it is an excellent opportunity for you to share your views with
them. The details for each meeting are as follows:
